Description
A newly reconstructed historical building of the Waldstein Hotel is situated just in the centre of Prague in the Lesser Town very close to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and other famous sights. Originally Gothic house received its recent form in the time of the late Renaissance. Final adaptations, made by Alois KamarIt, the ancestor of the contemporary owners, are from the 90th years of the 19th century. With regard to the unique preserved architectural elements the house was registered on a list of national cultural heritage of the Czech Republic. All rooms are equipped with original antique and historical furniture. There have been originally painted ceilings from the 17th century preserved in some rooms as well as Gothic and Renaissance vaults and wall murals.
